The One with Fortune Cookie Boutique x Me Blogging x Hybrid in a Headpiece

This coming Thursday (May 10th) Fortune Cookie will be putting her Ramadan collection up during a special event taking place in the boutique itself. I HIGHLY recommend you get one of these pieces while you can! They were tons of fun to wear, and being photographed by Me Blogging just made it that much more fun!

Check out Me Blogging’s post here for more photos!

The One with the Aftermath of Shooting

My handbag’s name is Jose. I pet him when I get bored. Or lonely.

Because I’m gangster…

Henna hands again!

Today was photoshoot day with Me Blogging (who took these photos above) and Fortune Cookie Boutique. To say I had fun is an understatement. Me Blogging is so talented, and Areej from Fortune Cookie has such good energy, she’s constantly excited and you can tell that they both love what they do. THAT’S important. I can’t wait for you all to see the photos of Fortune Cookie’s Ramadan collection! I’m quite nervous. I’ve never really modeled before. I mean…this blog doesn’t count as me modeling. This is outfit posting! THIS IS FASHION! THIS IS SPARTA? No? No one got that joke? Ok :(

Also, just a quick address to those of you who saw the lovely Instagram photos posted by Me Blogging and Fortune Cookie of myself: Thank you all so much for the support that were kind enough to voice their opinions on MY (read again: MY) style and personal taste with grace, a polite attitude, and a kind word. To those who were rude, mean, and impolite: you can hide your name on the internet to hide how mean you are, but you can’t hide your true ugly selves from God. I leave what you’ve said to me and about me for God to judge. Good luck!

The Post with a Thank You!

As my very blog title mentions I’m a hybrid. Meaning my half-American, Southern-raised side has to make an appearance come time for thank you notes! In the South of the United States it’s considered proper social etiquette to give a handwritten note to those who have taken the time to do something kind for you. I can’t let my mama down, now can I?

So to the wonderful women who have posted about me on their blogs, here is a 21st Century version of a “handwritten” note: THANK YOU! Your support means the world to me. I truly appreciate every post.
