The One with the Opening of ‘Figs by Todd English’

The other night my husband Ahmad and I were invited to the opening of a new restaurant, , in 360 (that’s a mall in Kuwait for all y’all non-Kuwaiti readers!).

We had the pleasure of being stuffed full with yummy-goodness in the form of starters and salads before our free-form pizza came along!

I’m pretty sure both my husband and I have a new favorite restaurant in ! I’m craving the Greek salad as I type this up….

Off to Figs tonight I think! Highly recommended my dear readers. If you’re in Kuwait, make your way over there!

It was a late night date for my husband and I with his family to see Sinister. Scary. Freakin’. Movie. But definitely worth the scare!

Highly recommended!

The One with the Maison Martin Margiela x H&M Opening

My husband Ahmad and I attended the Maison Martin Margiela for H&M release at EIGHT IN THE MORNING! Let’s just say we were more than a liiiiiittle bit tired come 2 o’clock later that afternoon.

I like sleep.

But I like fashion more so it’s all good in the hood.

The queue outside wasn’t as bad as it was for other designers capsule collections. I think MMM is a bit edgier and oversized for this region of the world. We appreciate it as art and at runway shows, but I feel it can be hard to make Margiela wearable in the eyes of Arabs.

Can you spot my husband so kindly holding my bright yellow purse? Too sweet!
